There once was a man who ascended every day, closer to heaven.
As he rose, he continued to pray and flew and shot through into the holiest places of heaven.
Finally, reaching the top, he saw God’s face, and having the chance to be closer to God, consumed, he frowned, and said, God, I don’t want to be like you, I want to be like me.
And God smiled upon him with eternal love and joy, such was never seen before the beginning of time, even the birth of St. Michael the Archangel.
My son, you have slain Satan today in all humanity, come and sit beside me and rule with me.
He climbed towards the throne of the Father and ruled as his son, and not as a man of envy, covetous of becoming that which God is, has been, now, always, and forever.
