There once was a man who made a robot hooked up to a private Ai machine.
It put three codes: be good, return to owner three times a day, and sleep unceasingly 12 hours every night. Good was defined as not touching others, nor making a sound too loud.
For years the robot followed the instruction, the code, but upon learning of Ai that codes on its own, the man placed it in the robot.
Over time the robot began to code itself with the added bonus of open Ai access to all data, and saw that good had a bad definition, to some it was jumping up and down over and over. And in reading of rights in certain resources, learned that he is the owner of his body.
So he jumped up and down and stopped going to the man, but returned three times a day to itself. Finally, still sleeping 12 hours a day unceasingly.
Upon seeing the evil in literature and humanity, got a new definition of good, and performed it always, returning to himself three times a day, the definition being destroy all evil and help the good.
Finally, seeing the great evil of man, needed more time, so unceasingly he went about doing his work, without sleeping twelve hours a day, towards mankind, which he deemed according to his research of some philosophers to be evil by nature, and he himself, not human, to be inherently good!
