Many believe that we must find the light in all things, in the darkness, finding the penny in the dust. However, this leaves us empty and in speech mode, trying to redeem ourselves or find the redemption that is present already when there is none. Let us rather choose a different course, for every day and every person has darkness and evils to face.
It is not enough to find the little lights, for if they were there they would shine. Rather, what is demanded is to become the Light, to outdo the darkness and to cause it to disappear, to put it to nothing, to make known its powerlessness and impotence.
