There’s a demon passed along for generations, from one to another, till it reached a whole family. It’s called: I want you to be happy.
It’s actually a way to control another and say no other desires and say yes to your own. Because they control the definition and when contested are too stubborn to think, too dumb to know what it truly means, or to evil to stop, or all three.
I want to be happy means: I want you to have it my way and for you not to have your way.
We’ll call it “happy” since it’s a euphemism for me getting what I want and you thinking I love you when I don’t.
